Video Transcript: Purpose-Driven Data: Putting the “Why” into Fiscal Processes

ARDITH FERGUSON

The IDEA Fiscal Forum is a chance to meet and learn from each other and to explore ways that we can make the Part C fiscal aspect of our work much stronger.

LESLIE FOX

Over the course of two, two and a half days, there’s dedicated time to really think through complicated issues.

BETH COLE

Getting to know the names and the faces of the people that you see on the communities of practice and on other calls.

LESLIE FOX

State personnel representing fiscal, Part C leadership, data managers, experts from the TA centers.

SHILAN WOOTEN

To meet in person and develop a shared understanding of Part C and the fiscal components that go into the Part C system.

LESLIE FOX

It’s intended to be intimate. It’s intended to allow people to really dig deeply into a very small scope of work.

ARDITH FERGUSON

We’re going to have a range of sessions from 60 minutes to three hours. You can self-select the level that you find useful to your own learning.

SHILAN WOOTEN

You’re going to learn everything from the basics of what are fiscal data to potentially advanced scenarios that you can apply in your state.

ARDITH FERGUSON

Some of the OSEP staff are going to be joining us at the IFF. This is a great opportunity to meet with them if you choose to ask your own personal questions for your states.

SHILAN WOOTEN

As a former Part C data manager and attendee of many Part C conferences, I’m really looking forward to seeing you all in Atlanta.

LESLIE FOX

It’s going to be a terrific couple of days.

And meeting new friends and learning all kinds of great information.
