CIFR, in collaboration with the National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCSI) Fiscal Support Team (FST), invited states to send Part B state teams to an in-person workshop to develop written fiscal procedures for one of two focus areas:
- Comprehensive coordinated early intervening services (CCEIS)
- Private school proportionate share
The workshop was held in Washington, DC, on March 11—12, 2025.
TA providers from CIFR and NCSI FST guided state teams in creating written state-level procedures. The workshop featured relevant resources, collaborative sessions for team planning, options for sharing and feedback among states, and opportunities for networking. Participants left with a comprehensive draft that aligns with IDEA and addresses their state’s unique systems and priorities, along with a plan to finalize, approve, disseminate, and update the procedures.
