2021 CIFR Part B Fiscal Webinar: Local Educational Agency (LEA) Maintenance of Effort (MOE) Fiscal Requirements and COVID-19 Implications

This webinar will dive into the critical features of the maintenance of effort (MOE) fiscal requirements, and discuss the challenges expected or experienced by LEAs in meeting MOE due to budget cuts and other factors related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, we will have a review of LEA MOE tools co-developed by CIFR, the IDEA Data Center (IDC) and the National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCSI).

Date and Time: March 5th from 2:00-3:00 PM ET / 1:00-2:00 PM CT / 12:00-1:00 PM MT / 11:00-12:00 PM PT

In addition, CIFR will hold a follow up Open Door session to further discuss the anticipated impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to LEA MOE. SEA staff will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and common challenges with CIFR content experts and their states counterparts.
