Date: April 24–26, 2018
Location: Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter Ravinia, Atlanta, Georgia
State directors of special education and Part B IDEA fiscal specialists are invited to attend the IDEA Fiscal Forum (IFF) 2018, hosted by the Center for IDEA Fiscal Reporting (CIFR). Join colleagues across the country to exchange experiences and solutions to common special education fiscal questions from other states. Participants will increase their capacity to ensure appropriate use and oversight of IDEA funds and to collect and report special education fiscal data. Technical assistance providers from CIFR, the National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCSI), and other national IDEA technical assistance centers, along with staff from the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), will be available to support staff development.
The event agenda is in draft and subject to change. The planning committee for the IDEA Fiscal Forum 2018 (IFF 2018) invites state fiscal and special education specialists, technical assistance providers, and Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) staff to submit a presentation proposal for the April 2018 conference. The deadline for presentation proposals is 8:00 pm EDT on December 14, 2017.
